BookWhere 2000™ is a powerful software package that allows the user to search hundreds of databases via the Internet and export MARC format records as well as save them to disk. Once saved to disk the MARC records can be imported into Auto Librarian™ SE Library Server and Auto Librarian Library Server V.4 software using the MARC/AL Interface Utility™ V.4.

BookWhere 2000™ searches available databases including public, academic and state libraries from all over the world. Access is also available to hundreds of Global Information Locator Service databases as well as locally mounted and commercial databases.

The MARC/AL Interface Utility™ V.4 is a utility which allows Auto Librarian™ SE Library Server and Auto Librarian™ Library Server V.4 users to read the USMARC/MicroLIF records included with the purchase of books from major book vendors such as Baker & Taylor, Brodart, Follett and others, thus eliminating the need to input manually, newly purchased books. This utility also enables users who have a union disk or MARC records from Bibliofile or another source (including the Internet) to upload their books into Auto Librarian^™ Library Server Ver. 4.0 using the MARC record. This is an import feature only. The utility does not export Auto Librarian™ book records into the MARC format.
